Printing Management Software Query

Good day po sa mga masters ng printing industry. Is there anybody here familiar with MONARCH PRINTING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SOFTWARE or OPTIMUS ESIMATING PRO+? Or may alam ba kayong ibang PRINTING MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE? My boss here in Jeddah is considering purchasing either one of the two mentioned software. He asked me to evaluate which is better. We are presently using PROGRAMMED SOLUTIONS PRINTING MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE but since nabenta na ang kumpanya kaya wala na rin silang technical support. So, my boss is considering changing our printing management software.

Di pa namin na try yung dalawang binanggit mo. Ang alam ko is HiFlex, super galing. Sa pag-gawa pa lang ng cost estimate pwede na niyang i-link ang management software sa Workflow ng CTP niyo. Pag dating ng mga CTP operators andun na ang template, naka-latag na ang layout according to the Job Order. Yun nga lang medyo mahal.

Yung nagustuhan namin ay Print Smart. Installation sa amin this February tapos may kasamang trainers na magco-conduct ng training sa database management and also sa cost estimate.

Next week yata dating nila dito sa amin and alam ko pupunta silang Jeddah. Kung gusto mo iwan mo sa akin contact details mo para matimbre ko sa kanila.

Kita tayo minsan pag andiyan ako. May satellite office kami diyan.

Of course I would like to meet with your boss. Bihira ang mga locals na boss na mahilig sa technical stuff pero since he had his education in the US medyo naiiba siya sa mga pangkaraniwan na amo dito sa Saudi. My boss is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in New York, kaya alam na alam niya ang mga kailangan sa printing para mag improve ang quality. Because of him nahahawa din kami sa mentality niya.

As of now, di ko alam kung kelan ako pupunta sa Jeddah. I usually go there when we need to train our customers or kung may problems sa isang design office namin diyan.

I asked the dealer of Print Smart to send you some info and what advantages it has over the systems you are evaluating. Ikaw na bahala dun if the product he carries meets your requirements. Sa ngayon wala akong masasabing concrete sa Print Smart kasi ii-install pa lang sya dito sa amin. Pero sabi ng mga bossing dito sa finance and production okay naman daw. We will see how it fairs once it is up and running.

Antay ko na lang sir ang CP mo para ma-text kita.

I have difficulty in data collection lalo sa finishing and bindery section, 1st dahil sa language barrier, 2nd dahil ayaw makipag-cooperate ng iba sa production and 3rd dahil sa mababaw na IQ ng ilan. How did you manage such problem?

Please let me know kung gaano ka impressive ang bagong software nyo. Optimus is not impressive kaya naeliminate na siya sa mga choices namin.

Ganyan talaga sa simula. Kailangan mong alamin ang salita nila kasi sa shop floor bihira ang marunong mag english. Also, you may want to ask the big boss to "request" the other managers to cooperate but he will have to explain to them first why these data are needed and how it will help your business.

Yun bang Printsmart can handle Flexo Estimating o Publishing/Commercial Printing lang? Optimus kasi walang sub-module for Estimating Flexo jobs.
