Photoshop settings for final layout-prepress in Phils.

Want to know the customize settings such as colot setting, dot gain, resolution, color profile etc. for Photoshop uses always in the Phils. Once opening the program, what are the basic standard setting to be done from color and B/W output? Appreciate for the help.

Try europre-press2 if you are using euro print specification.
or:

On color setting:

RGB: Adobe
CMYK: SWOP or ISO coated fogra 27L (Depends on your specs)
Gray: 10%
Spot: 10%
Preserved all and check all box.
Do not desaturate monitor.

This setting would be effective if and only if your monitor is calibrated by colorimeter or spectrophotometer.
