MERALCO MODE

Hi Everyone!

I need help from you guys. I am currently renting a warehouse with 3 phase connection. Now I am planning to down size and just transfer na lang sa bahay namin. Obviously its residential ( hehe!) so I need someone who will assist me and enlighten me if anong load ang kailangan ko I declare sa meralco. It would be one color machine, a cutter, a diecutting machine and a folding machine.

Ang pagkakaalam ko po, 3 classifications ang meralco.
1. Residential
2. Commercial
3. Industrial

Residential ang pinaka mura, sunod ang industrial, commercial ang pinaka mahal.

Gamit ka na lang ng converter para di mo na need ng 3ph kung kaya naman. para di mo na papalitan yun current residential load ng bahay mo.

sabi ng kausap ko inverter daw. nalilito na ako. ano ba talaga mga bossing? at magkano magagastos ko kaya if ever?

LINAWIN NATIN:

Ang power supply ng mga printing machines/equipments ay 230/380V, AC, 3phase, 3 wire, 60HZ. Ang residential power supply is 230V, AC, 1phase, 2 wire, 60HZ!

Since ang Printing Press ay ilalagay sa isang residential area, ang unang magiging problema: 1) Nakakuha na ba kayo ng Home owners permit? 2) Ang Phase current ng residential ay single phase power supply lang. 3phase ang mga printing machines. Kaya may nag-advise to use converter. It means: From single phase power supply the converter will convert it to 3phase power supply needed by the printing machines! 3) Since the Power Load will increase, you are oblige to change the present rating to a higher RATING of: 1) the Service drop (wire), from meralco post to meter. 2) the service Entrance (wire), from meter to Circuit Breaker. 3) Circuit breaker 4) supply wire, from Circuit Breaker to Load or another Circuit Breaker.

Doon sa tanong kung how much ang idedeclare ninyo sa Meralco, you need an electrical engineer or electrician to compute the total power load or total KW.
