Hi Rhene and welcome to the forum.

Since you are new in the printing business, I suggest that you go for digital printing. Digital printing is a lot easier to operate than offset printing. It is also more suitable for short quantity jobs of a few hundreds. You should, however, develop your skills in design and layout, which is the front end of the printing process.

For your equipment requirements, you can contact Copylandia, which has a branch in Davao. You can visit their website for details. They have a wide range of digital presses to cover different requirements from simple 1-color printing to multi-color printing. From the digital process, you can later expand to the more complicated offset process as your market expands.

You can also probably contact PIADI (Printing Industry Association of Davao, Inc) for assistance.

Regards.

Try to inquire Canon Imagepress, Ubix Konica Minolta, Fuji xerox 1450 GA.
Color support ang MAIN concern, kasi dapat consistent. maganda rin na kumuha ka ng wedge, either G7 or Ugra wedge para malaman mo kung talagang maganda talaga.

You can use RISO or DUPLO machines for printing text and simple 1-color graphics on uncoated paper like the inside pages of books; and use color printers like Konica Minolta or Develop Ineo for the colored covers.

There are many brands and models of color printers available. The expensive ones are the ones referred to as color presses. These are high end machines with software control for consistent and accurate color reproduction. As billy said, you should avoid the multi function printers, which are only for office use.

Since you are just starting your business, you will have to balance the cost of your investment with the capability of your production process.
