UV spot process

Any good Samaritans out there who's willing to explain the process? I'm fascinated seeing prints done with this process. Also is it possible to do this process to prints that are printed in Laser printers?.

Anything that is printed using toner is not applicable specially on board type paper.

In the UV process, a UV curable liquid is applied by rollers to the surface of the substrate (paper or board). When the substrate is exposed to UV light, the coating quickly dries to a hard and durable finish.

In spot UV, the coating is applied to selected areas by relief printing process (similar to rotary letterpress) or by silkscreen printing. After printing, the coated sheet passes under a UV curing unit.

dun po sa digital printed - mukhang pwede po sya sa digital kasi meron nagooffer ng Spot UV printing ng 2 boxes ng business card lang.

Madali lang ang process using silk screen kaya lang you need UV curable varnish and UV Dryer.
